世界大賽第七戰，也是2016年大聯盟最後一場比賽今天（11月3日）登場，印地安人王牌投手克魯伯將連續第二次，在只休三天的情況下登板，小熊則由大聯盟今年的防禦率王漢德瑞克斯上陣，上一次世界大賽打到第七戰，已經是2002年的事情，究竟誰能勝出，成為全球體壇矚目的焦點。
印地安人跟小熊，要拼到第七戰，才能決定世界大賽冠軍是誰，最後一場割喉戰，印地安人派出王牌Corey Kluber先發，誓言搶下關鍵勝利。
球賽主播：「克魯伯三局9次三振，寫大聯盟新紀錄。」
Corey Kluber在世界大賽，在第一場跟第四場擔任先發，12局的投球裡面，只丟掉1分，15次的三振，防禦率0.75，而且每場出賽，都只休息3天就上場，目前Kluber在世界大賽拿下2場勝投，已經最近16年的第一人，如果第七戰又拿下勝投，將會成為48年以來，包辦3場先發勝的第一人。
而小熊則是由國聯防禦率王，KyleHendricks掛帥，小熊如果能夠拿下勝利，將會是大聯盟史上第六支，從1:3落後的情況下，逆轉封王的球隊。

小熊苦等108年，印地安人也有68年沒拿，到底誰能夠終結冠軍荒，讓球迷相當關注，小熊印地安人的系列賽，前4場平均收看人數，來到1820萬人，第五戰則是上升到2360萬人，收視率破15，這也是MLB從2013年，第一次收視率超過美式足球，而誰贏誰封王的第七戰，因為怕下雨，將在台灣時間11月3日早上7點45分提前開打，勢必會再讓世界大賽收視率，突破近年新高。（民視新聞張鎮麟、王泰棋綜合報導）
